Blogging is great for business. By publishing articles relevant to your business and client base you are communicating with clients and prospects in an open and honest forum, and if you allow and encourage comments you’ll engage in an open and honest conversation. Such dialogue enhances the image of your business and presents your brand favourably, and allows prospective clients to feel a connection with your business even prior to making contact.
On the more technical side, blogging creates a deep database of relevant content, internal and external links, and also encourages inbound links if the articles you’re writing are relevant to other websites and blogs. All of these aspects of blogging work wonders for search by assisting Google and other search engines to find your site, which drives qualified traffic and – on the balance of probabilities – boosts your sales.
